Drawing Books |
These books are very helpful in teaching children how to draw. You do not need to be an artist to teach from these books. Additionally, I have found many uses for these books beyond the Girls of American History curriculum. |
An excellent book to go along with this unit. Includes drawing exercises for Harry Truman, airplanes, inventions, and much more. I chose this book because it has drawing projects that relate directly to the Molly books. You do NOT need to be an artist to do these books with your children. They are fun, easy, and meant for ages eight and older, however it can be adapted to younger ages. It is so great to see your kids have a sense of accomplishment when they see that they can draw such wonderful pictures. Available on multiple websites - please see the links below.
